Find and organize conversations

Keep conversation titles useful so you can find earlier work. Archive a conversation when you want it out of the active list but still want to return to it.

  1. Expand the sidebar or open Chats.
  2. Use the conversation search field or browse the recent list.
  3. Open the matching conversation and check its contents.

Open the conversation’s actions menu. Choose Rename, enter a meaningful title, and finish the change. A title such as Website launch checklist is easier to find than a generic opening message.

Choose Move to project when the conversation belongs with other work. Select the intended project. Check its project view afterward to confirm the organization.

Choose Archive from the conversation menu. To return to archived work, open Archived and choose Restore for that conversation. Archive and Delete are separate actions. Do not use Delete when your goal is simply to hide an old conversation.

For bulk actions, review every selected conversation before proceeding. A broad selection can include work you still need.

If you cannot find a chat, check the signed-in account, search terms, project membership, and archived list. Avoid assuming it was deleted just because it is absent from recent chats.
